Oktoberfest 2020
Crummer Community Raises More than $20,000 for Student Scholarships
The Annual Crummer Oktoberfest Scholarship Fundraiser moved to a virtual, 5-day fundraising format this year.
The Crummer Community once again proved it can do amazing things despite the challenging circumstances.
The Oktoberfest Scholarship Fundraiser at the Hollerbach’s Willow Tree Café is a unique fundraising event that has become a Crummer favorite. In a year that we could not host an in-person event, our Crummer alumni and supporters have once again demonstrated their generosity and adaptability, with their commitment to our students.
Keeping the spirit of the event alive, the 2020 Oktoberfest moved to a 5-day scholarship fund drive driven by stories shared by alumni and current students about how a Crummer degree positively impacted their careers and lives. The effort was led by Mike Brown, Director of Alumni Relations, Lovelyn Findley, Program Manager, Alumni Relations, and the collective effort of the Crummer marketing team.
We are appreciative that over $20,000 was raised from alumni, board members, faculty, staff, and even current students for future student scholarships.
“We want to thank the entire Crummer community for their participation and generosity. Your commitment to the school helps make a world-class Crummer education possible for so many deserving students each year,” said Mike Brown, Director of Alumni Relations.
